When people talk about Japanese food, it’s always sushi, ramen, tempura, tonkatsu, sukiyaki… you know, the usual hits. But what about sweets? I’ve got a serious sweet tooth, so today I want to share one of my favorite treats.
It’s called Choco Monaka Jumbo. Hold on—this thing is so good.
You can find it at any convenience store for around 200 yen. It’s an ice cream bar with a crispy wafer on the outside, creamy vanilla ice cream inside, and a thin layer of chocolate that cracks when you bite into it. The texture is just amazing. Both the chocolate and the wafer are super crispy. It’s seriously addictive.
Just talking about it makes me want to go buy one right now!
